I added password protection to the wp-admin folder and now I cannot log into the dashboard of my WP site. Can anyone tell me how to remove that password protection? I have gone back into the C panel and then to ‘Directory Privacy’, and then public_html, (https://i.snipboard.io/ceVLxd.jpg) and then I click on wp-admin, enter the user name and password that I used when setting up the password protection, and then click on ‘delete user’, but then I get a message saying “Error: There was problem removing the user. The “user” argument cannot be empty.” (https://i.snipboard.io/pIVaX3.jpg). I’m stuck – can anyone help, please? I need to remove the password protection on wp-admin so I can get back into my WP dashboard. Thanks.
