# Remove padding…

 * i have a child theme of make.
 * And i am trying to remove [that padding](http://i.imgur.com/cGqXKCl.png) after
   the header as you see in the photo (the white one).
    Any ideas?

 * In the Customizer, under **Layout → Header**, check the box to remove the padding
   beneath the header. 🙂

    I use the Siteorigin page builder.

 * I’m having the same issue with extra padding between sections, particularly columns.
 * It was working fine until I added background colours to all sections.

 * This is the reply I got from Make in regards to my similar issue: “This is actually
   expected behavior. When you add a background color to a section, the section 
   gets additional padding. This is so you don’t have content running along a color
   border.”
