Hello,

I upgraded woo and my themes to the current versions and tried to get rid of the sale tags in products and product listings with this function:
```
remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item_title', 'woocommerce_show_product_loop_sale_flash', 10 );
remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_show_product_sale_flash', 10 );
```
it worked for the product details page but not for the product listings.

any idea doing that without css?

Maybe the theme already changes this hook.

The theme developer helped me out with a single filter function which helped for both cases.
So I removed the above functions with this one:
```
add_filter('woocommerce_sale_flash', 'woo_custom_hide_sales_flash');
function woo_custom_hide_sales_flash()
{
    return false;
}
```
