 * We’ve identified several concerns in your post and responded to each below:
 * **I would like to remove the nofollow attribute on all internal links.**
 * The Yoast SEO plugin is only able to add the nofollow attribute on a page level.
   It isn’t able to modify these on a per link basis. You can select whether a page
   is set to ‘nofollow’ by performing the following steps:

    - Go to the Edit screen for a page/post
       Scroll down to the Yoast Metabox
      Click on the ‘Advanced’ area For ‘Should search engines follow links on this
      Page?’ select ‘Yes’ Click Update
 * We also have a guide on how to set a page/post to nofollow or noindex here:
   [https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-do-i-noindex-urls/](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-do-i-noindex-urls/)
 * **I have also problem with the sitemap: Indexable pages missing in the sitemap.
   xml**
 * Whereas the XML Sitemap should dynamically update after any modification to it,
   if the site or server is caching the sitemap this can cause it to not update
   right away. We also have additional information on this at the following link:
   [https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-does-not-update/](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-does-not-update/).
   If you are not seeing the sitemap as updated, we would recommend checking your
   caching settings and to ensure that the sitemap is being excluded from the cache.
 * If you are still experiencing an issue with the sitemap not updating after checking
   your caching settings, you can also force a cache reset by temporarily disabling
   the sitemap feature, and then re-enabling. To do so please perform the following
   steps:
    - In WordPress go to SEO>General>Features
       For ‘XML Sitemaps’ Toggle the
      switch to ‘Disabled.’ Click ‘Save Changes.’ Toggle the switch back to ‘
      Enabled.’ Click ‘Save Changes.’
 * We also have a guide on how to enable/disable XML Sitemaps here: [https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/)

 * Dear devnihil
    I analyzed my site with Ryte, and I have a lots of warnings for
   nofollow. But visiting the posts with warnings, the ‘Should search engines follow
   links on this Page’ is Yes. So I do not understand the problem.. I have to tell
   you, that I do not understand a lot about these things… 😀
 * With the sitemap I do the steps you suggested. But I don’t know if it is ok now,
   because the ryte allows only 1 check a month.

 * A nofollow link can occur within the content as well. Some common places where
   we see nofollow links is in the comment; specifically the reply to comment WordPress
   core feature.
 * As this is a core WordPress feature and can be outside of where Yoast interacts
   with your site, you may want to look at a nofollow plugin that helps with the
   comment reply feature and other non-Yoast areas. Search for one that meets your
   needs [here](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/nofollow/).

 * Thank you!
    Just a question, is this a problem that I have nofollow links in
   the comment…?
 * I started to investigate only because Ryte results…

 * Whether you choose to set a type of content to nofollow depends on the nature
   of the links. Google roughly indicates that there are three reasons to nofollow
   links:
    -  Untrusted content
       Paid links Crawl prioritization
 * Comments are an example of an area of content where you would typically not want
   the links to be followed, as they typically will have links that contain the
   first two types. We also have more information on what types of pages you may
   want to set to noindex/nofollow at the following link: [https://yoast.com/which-pages-noindex-or-nofollow/](https://yoast.com/which-pages-noindex-or-nofollow/)

 * Hi there,
 * I got the same issue, a message from Ryte: Remove nofollow from all internal
   links.
 * -Everything seems to be ok in Yoast. It is set for following.
    -Bluehost wasn’t
   helpful -Ryte wasn’t helpful. Doesn’t say how to fix it. I am not sure if I should
   trust them at all with this message. I understand I need to remove the nofollow
   code in HTML… BUT WHERE AND HOW?
 * could somebody please explain me like to a 6 year old, how to remove nofollow
   from my links? (I am asking this cause I see in many forums ‘insert this code’,
   insert that code… BUT WHERE DO I INSERT IT?)
 * Thanks a lot!!
