Remove native gallery markup (html)

    Hello guys,

I’d like to know if there’s some kind of function to remove / edit the HTML markup that the native gallery outputs in WordPress.

I would need to use the gallery to show images in posts (because of a plugin) but not need the HTML code that comes with…which is messing a slider.

Many thanks if some of you guys have any tip,

Actually i think that what’s messing that slider is the css that comes with the native gallery.
You’ll have to edit out the media.php file in the wp-includes folder starting from line 825 till 840.
