Support » Plugin: Front-End Only Users » Remove mySQL table upon deactivation?

It appears that the four tables [wp_ewd_feup_fields,wp_ewd_feup_levels,wp_ewd_feup_user_fields, and wp_ewd_feup_users] are emptied when the plug-in is deactivated. This is good.

But the tables still exist after deactivation. A better practice would be to remove the tables completely so mySQL is not populated with empty unused tables upon deactivation.

    Hi RC,

I don’t think removing tables on plugin deactivation is best practice. I often deactivate plugins to see if there’s one that is causing a specific error, and I wouldn’t want all of the information associated with that plugin to be deleted when I do that testing.
