Remove my Slack from my profile

    Hello,

    I would like to know if it was possible to remove my slack name from my profile. I don’t even us it and I don’t want it to be displayed on my profile.

    It’s not possible.

    If you are a WordPress Slack user then the Slack profile will remain. It is tied into your forum account and cannot be unlinked.

    You can deactivate your Slack account but you will not be able to use the WordPress Slack and if you create a new account, it too will be on your profile.

    Very important: do not create a new forum account just for a Slack account. Multiple accounts are not permitted in the forums and that will lead to all of your accounts getting banned.

    I’ve deactivated my account but it’s still appearing. Any idea ?

    It’s cached, due to the number of users and cache-lengths on the Slack instance it can take a few hours to cease to show, which it has since done.
