• Hi there

I’m trying out woocommerce for selling travel tickets. I’ve registered with Sagepay and want to use them for credit card transactions.

The way I understand Mijireh works is I have to pay them for every transaction. However, I also pay Sage as I’m using their secure server so don’t need the Mijireh one.

Sagepay isn’t showing up as an option under Payment Gateways for credit cards, just Mijireh.

    Thanks
    Richard

    Hi Richard,

That’s correct, in return for the security features they offer Mijireh take a commission on your sales.

If you want to deal direct with SagePay then you might be interested in our dedicated SagePay gateway.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.

    I purchased a Sagepay plug-in for $20 that works perfectly/

    Thanks

Mijireh advertises here that they are compatible with Orbital Paymentech: http://www.mijireh.com/docs/payment-gateways/

They are not…according to Orbital, they have never heard of Mijireh.

Mijireh is just a way to pay more fees.. if you have a proper merchant account with a bank, for example Chase..they will provide the gateway for free.

Now I am off to try to extract myself from this scam.

My opinion of WordPress as tool for professionals is extremely low.

@exmermaidsociety, I am sorry you have a low opinion of WordPress. The opinion should not be low due to just one complaint of WooCommerce using Mijireh. In fact, over 20% of websites worldwide are powered by WordPress. Also, keep in mind that there are many excellent payment gateway plugins in which you are obviously not forced to stick with just one.
