remove meta data from adelle

    I have 2 versions of the Adelle theme, one has a header image, but complex css (theme name=Adelle). The other doesnt have a header image and more familiar css code(theme name=adelle-wpcom)
    Id like to remove all reference to meta data, date, author, comments, etc.
    Another thing I need help with is adding a header image.
    Please help

    The second version sounds like it’s designed for a wordpress.com site; is that theme available on wordpress.com?

    If you want to hide the meta data, examine your site using a web debugging tool like Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools, then add some CSS through a CSS plugin to hide it (by setting its display property to none.

    As far as your header image goes, did you try going to Appearance > Header and selecting an image?
