Remove Main bar with Primary menu
-
Good day, I’m new to WordPress and my query is regarding my homepage.
I’d like to either remove the white background of the header bar where my Primary/Main menu is situated, or completely remove the bar and replace it with a header top bar as in all the other pages.
Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Hi @andrevn83,
While checking your site, I think you have used some sort of custom CSS, please remove the custom CSS and check if it helps. We have provided an option to change the header background color including other features and options.
Please check this article:

ThemeGrill SupportGood day,
Thank you. A different company setup the web page for me so I’m not sure what the reason is for the additional CSS. I removed it and it remove the background colour. However, I then had to change the font colour to white for it to be visible, but then the font would be invisible on all the pages except the home page.
I then enabled the header top bar to use this instead, but I do not know ho to remove the old bar with the primary menu items that also indicate on which page the user is. Please take a look at the link to the draft version here:

Hi @andrevn83,
I guess you are trying to achieve the header for your home page just like the other pages’ header on your site. Please edit the home page and scroll down at the bottom and you would find some options and then click on Header and disable the transparent header. This article should be helpful:
https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/how-to-make-the-header-of-an-individual-page-transparent-1s285ge/Good day,
I have disabled the transparent header and unfortunately it is still there. Please see the screenshots in the below location to show which header bar I am referring to.
@andrevn83,
Please remove the custom CSS that you have added and then your homepage header will look just like the header on other pages.Kind Regards,
ThemeGrill SupportPlease see the screenshot in the below link.
I removed the Custom CSS 3 days ago when you initially advised me to do so.
Hi there,
Upon inspecting your site. I still see the custom CSS that is added via Additional CSS. If you have already removed the CSS then please try clearing the cache of your site. Here are the attached screenshots of the custom CSS.
Kind Regards,
ThemeGrill SupportHi Ashesh, I’m sorry for not making my problem clear.
I do not want the header that you are showing in your last link that has the blue heading underlined. Please see this link.
https://kesaseoul.com/?customize_changeset_uuid=81eb4835-7ed8-4e26-904d-41d5f1921702
There are 2 headers. I want the top header only as in this picture in the link below.
Please disable the primary menu. Here is the link that can be helpful: https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/how-to-remove-the-primary-menu-qx5nnz/
And then, you can display the menu via customizer in the header top right section.

Sincerely,
ThemeGrill SupportThank you very much for your time.
All done.
After disabling the primary Menu as you suggested, it works on my desktop but does not display on my mobile. Please advise
Hi @andrevn83,
The usage of the header top area for the site logo and navigation menu is not favorable. Please use the header main area and the result will be the same as the result currently now expect the site logo and nav would display on mobile as well. Please follow the steps:
1) Disable the Header Top Bar via Appearance > Customize > Header > Header Top Bar.
2) Enable the Primary Menu Appearance > Customize > Header > Menu > Primary Menu.
3) Add the site logo via Appearance > Header > Site Identity. And that’s it, you will have a header just like as it is now which is displayed also on mobile.
Kind Regards,
ThemeGrill SupportThank you very much.
You are welcome! Do let us know for further queries later.
