Removing the MailPoet branding is part of our premium plans. Starting with our “Creator” plan the branding will be removed. For more information, please have a look into our different plans here.

Via FTP you can go to the following folder:
wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/assets/img
there you will find the picture: mailpoet_logo_newsletter.png
Rename that picture and give this name to another picture (inside that folder) that is 1x1px – but still a .png.
So people don’t see that message anymore – but be aware, after an update you have to change it again.

The image is part of the newsletter (HTML) and has nothing to do with the sending service.
Ah, so it’s just a core branding and tracking function for it I guess, tied to subscription features ..
