• Hello,

When someone is not logged in and they click “Signup” on a tournament. It takes them to a little popup to login. I don’t really want people logging in there. Can I remove the username/password fields so it is just the message? They can then close that popup and use the standard login,

    Thanks,

    JT

Although you didn’t mention your reasoning for wanting this change, I can understand why some websites may not want it this way. My thoughts are that some websites may have a more customized login page with additional information (like agreements) or fields that may not be included in the login supplied in the popup box.

I agree just the message would be adequate for this, however, I believe offering a link to the wp-login page would be more helpful than having the user close the popup and hunt for the login. Do you agree with this?

    Thanks for your feedback! 🙂

Yeah, I actually had that as an alternative and deleted it. The reason is that I’m trying to get all my member to sign-up through my Steam social login. I assume it’s easier to remove the login from that than add the steam social icon to it.

May you please link me to the plugin you are using for the Steam login so I may see what I can do to better support it?

    Thanks! 🙂

Sure, I think it’s a pretty popular one:

Me too, I’m doing the same thing!
