Ok Im back again

I managed to remove the Hello user and logout from my Dashboard via dashboard.php

__( ‘Hello %1$s (not %1$s? Log out)’, ‘woocommerce’ ),
” . esc_html( $current_user->display_name ) . ”,

But I now have the abbreviated version of User and Logout options sitting on my Dashboard – they dont seem to be linked to Dashboard.php.

How can I remove this – Im unable to identify its source using Inspect tool via the browser – I have included an image URL of what Im trying to remove.

Hi @wordtalk112!

I can verify that it is coming from the dashboard.php file, and when overriding the template to my theme, it is successfully removed.

How can I remove this

It is likely some custom code or another plugin adding it back there. You can temporarily switch to another theme, like Storefront and disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce core, to see if it still remains.

Right – I disabled all plugins and activated storefront – then activated all plugins and no username / logout was displayed.

Then changed back to my OceanWP Parent theme – logged and there it was – Username/logout.

So it would appear to be the theme – So I will need to disable the CSS or php code that is causing it.—If I can work it out.
