I’ve installed the Coraline theme and tried to remove the Links Widget. I’ve moved widgets around on WordPress themes before so figured I knew what I was doing, but in this instance:
– the Links widget shows on the front page, but in the widgets section in the dashboard, there seem to be no widgets in the various widget areas on the right hand side of the pane where they are normally dragged to.
– Instead, Links sits in both Available widgets (with an Add functionality) and Inactive widgets (with an edit functionality) and trying to add or edit either of these does nothing.
I have tried moving a different widget (e.g. Archive) into the widget area which Links appears to inhabit, having read in a post that that might work but it didn’t.
Thanks for any tips/fixes,
