# Remove links from Breadcrumbs

 * Would like to leave the breadcrumbs but remove the links in them. Suggestions?

 * Hi there,
 * In order to remove the links of your breadcrumbs, you’ll need to customize how
   they’re rendered in your site. There are many plugins or themes that can customize
   the breadcrumbs, so first, I’d suggest you to make sure where are they coming
   from (if you’re unsure, disabling plugins or switching to a default WordPress
   theme, would help you find it).
 * Once you find where is this breadcrumbs functionality coming from, you’ll need
   to reach their support team or check its code directly to see if there’s any 
   filter that you can use to customize its code and remove the links.

 * In the end we just hid them. Not sure I’d count this resolved, but it is for 
   me.
