 * Hello all, can somebody please kindly instruct me as to how to remove the link
   from the thumbnail?

 * Hi, if you still didn’t find the answer, here it is:
    You need to edit file: 
   list-category-posts/include/lcp-thumbnail.php On 41st and 42nd lines find: `$
   lcp_thumbnail = '<a href="' . esc_url(get_permalink($single->ID)).'" title="'.
   esc_attr($single->post_title).'">';` and comment out these two lines.
 * And, of course, this is a code change and will disappear if you update the plugin
   to a newer version.
