i’m not able to find how to remove a link from a page (sydney theme). i’ve seen a lot of responses, but non of them helped me.
the thing is that i have one father page with sons, but i only want links on father page.
it should be easy… but i can’tfind the way!!!
one of the solutions is to go to menu and remove the link. but i only have one custom link (home) and the rest are pages… how do i create more custom links??
    thank you!

What link do you want removed from which page?

I need to remove the auto-generated links on the navigation menu for “Pages”. I really don’t think my problem is theme-related. There is an option to remove the “Home” link from that menu, but not the same with “Page” types from same menu.
    Do you need the link??

I think what people usually do is create a custom menu for your entire menu items, not just the home link and then control the link URLs there (in Appearance > Menus). There you can use a hash character (#) as the URL and it’ll disable the link.

    Thank you so much!!!!
Maybe was all the time trying…
I finally found the solution by creating a custom menu!
    Thanks! Bye

    For all the bloggers.
    Just as simple as this:
Step 1: GOTO left sidebar – Appearance – Menus
Step 2: You will find a little panel with your pages. Under the panel you have a list features including “CUSTOM LINKS”. Click here.
Step 3: Clear the URL and set a title for that new page.
Step 4: Click on “ADD TO MENU” which is into “CUSTOM LINKS” one you open it.

And That is all. Alocate the custom link as you wish and link any son page to this parent page (CUSTOM LINK) you just created!!!

    Good luck!. Bye
