Remove link from Excerpt text

    I have excerpts being displayed where all of the text is hyperlinked to the post (ie testimonials), but I would like to remove the link from all the text.
    I’ve seen help on how to remove the ‘Read More’ link at the end of an excerpt, but it’s all of my excerpt text that is linked. Any help appreciated.
