The “Your order is complete” email (and PDF invoices) have “is_order_bump_purchase: true” appended to any product bought using an order bump. This is confusing to customers and should not be shown in customer emails.

    Hello,

Thank you for trying our plugin

We have checked this from our side for you as we have already removed this in our latest version. Please check with the latest version it will work fine.

If still any issues we are always for help.

    Regards,

@makewebbetter was this fixed? We have version 2.0.0 and still experience this issue. The is_order_bump_purchase: true is included in the customer emails. Also, this is being added to our PDF packing slips that are generated by WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips.

    Thanks.

The issue remains, I download the latest version.

I “solved” it by adding a short description in the product to be “bumped”.

Go to Edit Product -> Product Data -> Advanced -> Purchase Note.

Add a “Thank you for buying x product” and that’s it, it should no longer appear in the email that the customer receives.

I am using 2.0.1 and the issue remains for me.

Adding a string to Product Data -> Advanced -> Purchase Note didn’t stop is_order_bump_purchase: true from appearing in the invoice or email in my case so a proper fix by @makewebbetter would be most welcome given this was reported 6 months ago.

    Hello,

Yes, we have checked and this is added just to check the analytics of your order bumps, without this you won’t be able to see analytics, if you want to remove it you can check the above method told or by our team,

We have also noted this and we are figuring out if we can replace this thing with anything else without affecting data so we will surely do it in upcoming versions

    Regards,

@makewebbetter I’m not on your team, I’m just another user. I upgraded WordPress and the solution that once worked on my site, now does not. Are you guys working on this?

Sadly, upgrading to 2.1.0 stopped a conditional field at checkout from showing when the order bump was selected. So I downgraded to 2.0.2 and my order bumps don’t show in admin any more.

Looking into it I see your option changed from mwb_ubo_bump_list to wps_ubo_bump_list which explains why downgrading lost the data.

I fixed my missing conditional field by updating checks for mwb_upsell_bump_checkbox_container to wps_upsell_bump_checkbox_container.
