# Remove "invisible" user

 * Hello,
 * I just deleted a user via phpmyadmin (I knew I didn’t need that user and stupidly
   thought it was going to be ok)
 * I literally just clicked delete next to that user in the database.
 * Now in the wordpress dashboard there is a phantom user. I currently have 3 real
   users, 1 admin and 2 customer. There is still a 1 showing for subscriber, but
   when I click, there is nothing there. How do I get rid of this?

 * You’ll need to delete the records for that user in the `wp_usermeta` table as
   well. Be aware that it’s very easy to break something if you do the wrong thing
   there, so backup the table before you make any changes.
