    Hey there Doug – since the duplicate is outputted by Ultimate Member, it’s best to ask their developers/support for a solution to this. It’s something they’ll want to address in a future release, as more people using this combination will very likely run into the same problem.

    Here is their plugin page:

    Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

    Ok. But I would like to remove the WooCommerce notice.
    I prefer the UM version of the two.

    The password hint you’re seeing is generated by the default WordPress login flow, and outputted in a WooCommerce notice. You could address it via CSS, similar to:

    .page-id-XX .woocommerce-error { display: none; }

    You’ll need to replace XX with the ID of the login page. You can find that in the source code of the page:

    Otherwise, you’ll need to programatically remove the notice all together, but I’m not 100% sure on the function needed for that. You may want to ask in the general WordPress forums on that one.

    Thanks for the assistance and sorry for the delayed response.
    I tried adding the below CSS for my login page here:

    .page-id-916 .woocommerce-error { display: none; }

    I still get the duplicate errors:

    Could you double check to make sure I have the right page ID and code?

    any update @imazed

    Hi there Doug,

    From your screenshot, I see you are referring to these two notices, one above the login fields, and one below — correct?

    password notices
    Link to image:

    Taking a look at the notices on the page, I see the top one has classes: class="um-notice err um-error-code-invalid_username" — in other words, “um” = Ultimate Members notices

    UM Notice 1
    Link to image:

    Meanwhile, the bottom one has class="um-field-error" — so also appears to be coming from Ultimate Members

    Um notice 2
    Link to image:

    In a standard WooCommerce login page, it would appear as a standard Woo error message like this, with the woocommerce-error class

    WooCommerce Login error
    Link to image:

    So, for the duplicate notices you are currently seeing, it looks like they are both coming from Ultimate Members. Please reach out to the Ultimate Members team to ask about those notices.

    I hope that helps!

    I got it solved on the other thread with some css
