# Remove index.php when updating?

 * I am updating from 1.5.2 to 2.0.2 and I have deleted all files as described in
   the tutorial, but it does not mention the index.php file in the root directory,
   should it be removed as well?

 * Yes, when you upgrade it will be replaced by the latest version’s index.php
