  • Hi @joallen1

It’s not possible to hide the tooltip that shows up when you hover on an image – that is default browser behavior and not controlled by the rendering of the page.

However, you can alter the ‘alt’ tags for the images. This would alter the text that shows up in that tooltip when you hover on the image. You can update the alt text for each image from within the media library in your dashboard. You can get there from the dashboard by going to Media ⇒ Library.

From there, select the image you want to update and add or update the text in the ‘Alternative Text‘ field.

Let us know if that helps!

Thanks- I think it connected to the beaver builder callout module because it does not display on all images in the site. I had to change the title of the picture (which should be done beforehand anyways! oops). If the client doesn’t like it I can change the formatting.

    Thanks

@joallen1 I found this thread because I have the same problem on my site right now. Only seeing those alt-text tooltips on the Beaver Builder Callout modules and no other images on my site. Very weird problem.
