remove IDs from custom menu LIs

    I created a custom menu for the site I am working on. I am using the menu in the header of the site as well as the footer of the site. wp_nav_menu creates LIs with IDs which is creating duplicate IDs on each page. Is there a way to tell WP not to put IDs in the LIs?

    I’m also looking for an answer… I know it can be accomplished using a custom Walker_Nav_Menu, but looking not sure which function effects the list item elements…
