Remove huge main product image

    I’ve spent a lifetime trying to figure out how to disable the main product image showing on individual product pages. It’s the VERY LARGE image right underneath the product title that I am talking about, not the “featured” product image and image gallery. I’ve found 800 ways to disable the featured image but not one that disables or hides the “main” product image. }

    You can add this CSS to the “Additional CSS” section found in your customizer

    Thank you, that works. Unfortunately it also has the side effect of removing the main images from blog posts elsewhere on the site. Do you know if there is a way to disable those images *only* for WooCommerce (to leave them in place elsewhere on the site)? If that isn’t possible it’s not a big deal, I can live with blog post main images not showing because there are ways around that.

    Try making the selector more specific, so:

    .single-product .news .featuredimg {

    Winner winner chicken dinner! Thanks, @rynald0s and @lorro! This code removes the featured image from WooCommerce products but leaves the blog featured images in place:

    }

    Hopefully that will help someone in the future.
