remove https (ssl) from automatic page links

  • I running a wordpress 2.7 installation and basically have no need for an ssl encryption since there is no real communication from the user to the server.

I would ideally like all my pages to be served over simple http and NOT over SSL.

However, all the automatically generated links for the pages come down as https, causing some browsers(read IE,etc) to go crazy because of the mixed (plugin) content.

Is there any way that I can force all the page links to just be http?

I had this problem til about 30 seconds ago. Go to the Settings Page of WordPress. Check the Blog Location address. It is most likely set to https.
