# Remove home featured

 * Hello:
 * I am configuring theme for the first time. In home featured category default 
   are empty forms, but once I decide not to use a category and want to remove it,
   I can’t remove that. In drop down menu it says ” Choose a category”. How to delete
   that and have blank item in dropdown menu?

 * I did, but that button reset all other setting and I was configuring theme for
   a while 🙂

 * just choose the default selection like ‘choose a category’ and ‘choose a number’
   and save customizer, so you won’t be using homepage featured category and use
   normal blog list instead.
