Hey there startos1133,
How are you doing today?
I’m not sure what exactly are you looking to remove, could you please post a screenshot and a link to your site so I can take a look?
Best regards,
Bojan
Hu, not sure how to attach
Its the “Home Top Feature
I have added the image.
Where it says Home top feature heading & the Home top feature description.
If I add words in them it has a grey block that appears over the banner image with a title and description.
I just want the image to be there.
If I leave the title and description blank it comes up with the default theme wording and title
How do I only display a banner with no wording on top of it.
Thanks
Hey there startos1133,
Thanks for the clarification, if you want you could remove text with some custom CSS. Please try adding the following code in Appearance >> Theme Options >> Styling Options >> Custom CSS:
.slide-content.entry {
display: none;
}
This should remove the content text from the slider.
Hope this helps 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
Bojan
Regarding that same block referred to here, I’d like to keep the block but change it a bit.
How do I remove the thick border on the right edge? It’s interfering with text in the image?
Thanks!
David
And how to remove the Home Top Feature Image ?
Hey there,
@daevczen This should be possible to remove by adding the following code in Appearance >> Theme Options >> Styling Options >> Custom CSS:
#slide-box .slide .slide-content.entry {
border-right: none;
}
If the code doesn’t work could you please post link to your site so I can take a look?
@ricorq I’m not sure what you mean, if you simply do not use the image in Appearance >> Theme Options >> Home Top Feature http://screencast.com/t/1dbhSwMczd the image should not be displayed.
Hope this helps 🙂
Best regards,
Bojan
