You need to use the support of your theme for this. Which theme are you using?
Why? Google tailors the fonts to the browser and delivers them faster than your WP site will. If you’re doing this for the GDPR, there’s no point, as Google keeps no personally identifiable information. See https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1495
I’m using Editorial Theme and the site is for the intranet company and system technique told me that it takes to long to load the site. so tha’s whay the only thing that is calling outside is the google fonts.
Thanks
I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/editorial-news#new-post so the plugin’s / theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.
Hi. in the editorial-functions.php file i delete (comment) this line:
//wp_enqueue_style( ‘editorial-google-font’, add_query_arg( $query_args, “//fonts.googleapis.com/css” ) );
I think that works because the chrome developer tools don’t show any font request.
Yup. That will do it. Make a note because when your theme is updated, the revision will be lost. (Your theme is a child theme, so you cannot create a child of a child to make it update-proof.)
ok … thanks for the advise. Regards
