 * Try commenting out the whole “home-media-gallery” block from your homepage. start
   by commenting out everything between <!– Media Gallery –> and <!–gallery-block–
   > and see where that gets you.

    Please open your style.css file and paste the following code
   at the bottom of it and save the file. .home-media-gallery {display: none;}

 * is there a way to make the slider a standard picture size?
    when i upload pics
   to it, they can be inconsistent and different heights which make it look a bit
   silly.
 * and also is there a way to remove the comment section on other pages?
