# Remove fields for contacts

 * When a user in the client portal views their details it shows more fields than
   I need. Is there a way I can remove the address from the contact fields?
 * I’d also like to change the ‘State’ field for ‘County’ in the company fields
   as we’re UK based – would that be possible?

 * Hi there, [@ruvanswp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ruvanswp/)!
 * You should be able to hide the address fields from the Your Details section of
   the Client Portal. Head to Jetpack CRM → CRM Settings → Client Portal and look
   for Fields to hide on Portal. From there, you can specify the fields you don’t
   want customers to see.
 * We have a guide with the field names and steps here:
   [How to hide fields on the Client Portal](https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/how-to-hide-fields-on-client-portal/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
 * For the State → County label, since you’re UK-based, there’s one thing I’d check
   first. Jetpack CRM follows the language/locale set for your WordPress site, so
   could you head to Settings → General → Site Language and check whether it’s set
   to English (UK)?
 * If it’s currently using English (US), switching to English (UK) may give you
   the UK-specific address terminology. There’s some more information on how Jetpack
   CRM handles languages here:
   [Changing the Jetpack CRM language](https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/how-to-change-jetpack-crm-language/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
 * If you’re already using English (UK) and you’re still seeing State, let us know
   where exactly that label is appearing (for example, in the CRM itself or in the
   Client Portal) and we’ll take a closer look.
 * Hope that helps!
