Remove email subscription & personal data message on checkout

Hi, Please advise How can we remove the section of checkbox and personal data message that showing on the top of the “Process to paypal” checkout button. please see here https://imgur.com/a/3xlCvTA
” I would like to receive exclusive emails with discounts and product information (optional)
Your personal data will be used to process your order, support your experience throughout this website, and for other purposes described in our privacy policy.”For the checkbox message ,I don’t see there is such email collecting section within the woocommerce setting, no idea why there is such things here. please advise, thanks

Hi there,
To edit/remove the “personal data” part, you can change that in your Customizer (Appearance > Customize) under WooCommerce > Checkout:
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/YrkBNqAS for the checkbox for receiving emails, that would generally be added by some marketing/newsletter plugin (not a part of the core WooCommerce plugin). In my screenshot above, the Checkbox on my checkout page is being added by our AutomateWoo extension from WooCommerce.com
Please check your site / list of plugins to see what might be causing that.
If you are still unsure, please share a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your reply. Please note that since this is a public forum, you may want to remove any sensitive information that you don’t want shared publicly.
