# Remove Duplicate Search Box

 * I’m using the “White as Milk” theme (based on Kubrick) on two websites, and I’m
   experiencing the same thing on both. I have a search widget in the sidebar, and
   when no matches are found, a second search box appears in the content area, right
   below,”No Posts Found. Try a Different Search?” Is that common to WordPress, 
   or something specific to the Kubrick or White as Milk theme? It just looks odd
   to have two search boxes, basically side-by-side, when a match isn’t found. Can
   I somehow “code out” the generation of the 2nd search box that appears in the
   content area?

 * Yes it is common. If you want to get rid of the search bar in the content area
   you will have to edit it out from search.php which is what I assume the site 
   is using to output the search “error”.
 * If you want to get rid of the search box in the sidebar I assume you know how
   to do that.
 * You could also make your own sidebar for the search.php template with no search
   bar.
