remove 'developer comments' from theme

    I bought a theme that uses a lot of commenting throughout the code to make modifications easier.
    Now I did all my modifications and want to remove all code comments from my theme.

    Is there a plugin out there that can remove all developer comments within my code?

    Are the comments showing up in the page source of the website? If not, they aren’t causing any trouble. In fact well commented code is good code. HTML comments are wasted bandwidth though. I try to keep that to a minimum. I don’t know of a plugin that will remove them though, but there are a lot of plugins in the catalog and I only about a few of them :).

    Thanks for your reply. Yep, I was looking to remove html comments and found the solution with a plugin called WP-Beautifier. Works like a charm.

    Interesting. What is your URL? I’d like to see its output. I think if I were going to clean up output I’d strip all spurious whitespace though, not try to generate pretty-print code.
