[Resolved] Remove date on ALL pages except for homepage

  • Hi,

Is there anyway to remove the date you see on the top right of posts and pages, but leave it on the post if it’s displayed on the homepage?

    I’m referring to http://metsmole.com

    Thanks for your help!

  • Edit your page templates and you can display whatever information you want. From Presentation >> Theme Editor, edit all pages you want to remove the date from. Look for the_date and delete those lines to get rid of the date. Do not edit your Main Page Template and the date will show just fine on your home page. Edit Single Post, Search Results, and Archives Template. Those are the three pages I’d guess you want to take the date off of.

    Hello

For single post pages check single.php and for pages check page.php. Each one will have the_date tag, just remove it.

Leave it in index.php as that is for the main page.

    Hope it helps. 🙂
