[Resolved] Remove date from posts mobile site

  • Hi,

    Just wondering how can you remove the date from all posts? Messed around with the CSS but it’s still there.

    I have a feeling that it’s something really simple like display:none but I can’t seem to do it.

    Another thing is how can you stop the site appearing differently on mobile phones (especially for iPhone’s). I changed the CSS under media queries and got it to kind of work (site is here) but when the site is loaded on an iPhone you need to zoom out in order to see the whole page.

    Thanks in advance!

    Are you using a Child Theme or does that theme come with a section in the dashboard named, “Jetpack”, “Custom Styles” or “Custom CSS”?

    It has a custom css option anyway, not using a child theme.

    Isn’t this what you want? If the site is displaying the desktop version, you will need to zoom out to see the whole page on a mobile phone.

    Where is a page with a post, with the date?

    (I would use Jetpack’s Custom CSS plugin instead of Buttercream’s Custom CSS field — way more reliable, and works across themes. Buttercream’s was added before Jetpack included Custom CSS.)

    This should do it:

    .post-date {
      display: none;
    }
