Remove date from description

  • Hello.

    At first you may think this is not related to the theme. On Google, I can see the date in the description, eg. “2 days ago — [insert description here]”. I can see in the html for my home page:

    <time datetime="2014-03-30T21:11:09+00:00">Mar 30, 2014</time>.

    This could be related, as 2 days ago was march the 30th. I cannot find in the .php files for this theme where this code is generated/where it is.

    In this article/tutorial, it shows how you should stop the date showing in the description:
    http://www.andrewkeir.com/remove-wordpress-post-datestamp-timestamp-google-serps/

    But I can’t find any code like what it says in the php files for this theme.

    Could you please tell me how I could either fix this issue/where that piece of code may be. That article says I should look for something like:
    <?php the_time('F jS, Y') ?>

    If you have any idea, please tell me.
    Thanks,
    Moony22
