# Remove “continue reading”

 * Hi, can you please help me to remove the “continue reading” on my post, please.
   I had tried a couple of ways found on the internet but none of them works.
 * BTW: I am not an expert at coding, so if is there any plugin that I can use that
   would be great, right now I am using the Post Grid plugin, and the result is 
   the default “continue reading” link appears together with the Read More button
   from the plugin.
 * Please help me, thank you.

   dedicated forum so the theme’s developers and support community can help you 
   with this.

 * you need to edit some code in the theme’s functions.php (good idea to create 
   a child theme)

 * I did try this before actually (the reference link you attached). But it gave
   me an error
 * Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 43 of file wp-
   content/themes/twentyelevenchildtheme/functions.php. Please fix and try saving
   again.
    syntax error, unexpected ‘endif’ (T_ENDIF), expecting end of file
