# remove connection from dropbox

 * Hi there,
 * I have build a website, but now there is a new owner and he does the maintenance
   himself and he changed the wp-admin password. In the UpdraftPlus my Dropbox conection
   is still active, so back-ups are still made to my account.
 * I am not in contact with the new owner, so I can’t changes the settings in the
   website.
 * Is there a way to disconnect from Dropbox? In stead of from logging in into the
   website-admin?

 * Yes you can login to your Dropbox account and go to your account settings
 * [https://www.dropbox.com/account/](https://www.dropbox.com/account/)
 * When on this page you should see a security tab if you click this and scroll 
   to the bottom of the page you should see a Apps linked section.
 * There you will see UpdraftPlus if you click the X next to it this will remove
   UpdraftPlus access to it.
 * You can then remove the UpdraftPlus App folder if you do not want the content
   inside.

    I am afraid this is not working for me.
 * I use the updrafplus on several websites. So if I desconnect the way you mentioned,
   ALL backups will be disconnected?
