# Remove Comments Section – Misty Lake Theme

 * I use the Misty Lake theme for my website and want it to be purely static pages
   without comments. I’ve unchecked all check boxes in Settings => Discussion and
   also the Comments checkbox in Screen Options on my homepage but I still see the
   comments section. For reference my website is [http://www.waterfordwwmd.com](http://www.waterfordwwmd.com).
   Thanks for any help you can offer.

 * You need to do two things…
 * 1) Settings->Discussions – Uncheck `Allow people to post comments on new articles`
 * 2) For older posts, you’ll have to disable them individually. Go to
 * Posts->All Posts
 * and then click on “Quick Edit” for each post and uncheck “Allow Comments.”
 * If you have a lot of posts, you can do a bulk edit and set them all at once.
