# Remove Comments Option

 * I have a static page theme – Twenty Ten used as a webpage. I thought I had disabled
   the ‘Comments’ application/feature, but it seems people can still leave comments.
 * How do I de-activate this feature? I don’t want people to make comments and I
   don’t want to have to keep removing ‘spam’ comments all the time.
 * I have Jetpack intsalled, and I see its not activated on there, so it must be
   activated on the original theme – I just don’t know how to de-activate it.
 * Input anyone?
