you can add a check to your theme or plugin for is_page(598)
and remove_filter()
if true.
@niall Kennedy: what would be the filter name? I want to use it on functions.php in my theme.
This isn’t resolved…I want to know how to do that too. Please advise!
By the way, the next plugin update truly should include a checkbox for this on the edit page of a page/post. Right now WordPress has a “Discussion” box, and “Allow Comments” is checked and can be unchecked if desired. There should be an “Allow Facebook Comments” (or simply have it linked to the first). And when unchecked, this will disable FB comments for that page/post only. Every other plugin has this on/off feature per page/post (ie. Add This, Jetpack Sharing, custom SEO options, etc.). Why FB doesn’t is beyond me.

I help run a website http://www.mydesignandwine.com
My question is: Is there a way to remove the comment box on just ONE page? For example, here: http://www.mydesignandwine.com/auctions
