# remove /comic from post url

 * Hi there,
 * I’ve used the migrator to update to comic easel. I wasn’t aware that it would
   change the URL structure of my comics from [http://www.site.com/comictitle](http://www.site.com/comictitle)
   to [http://www.site.com/comic/comictitle](http://www.site.com/comic/comictitle).
 * Is important the the URLs of my existing comics stay the same. Is this possible
   with comic easel?

 * negative; but wordpress translates OLD urls into NEW ones automatically, so you
   shouldn’t have an issue with links you put other places finding the correct place
   to go
 * if you’re talking social media plugins to denote the correct pushs you can use
   custom post type permalinks plugin and add the date/month stuff as needed .. 
   as long as you have the ‘last portion’ of the URI correct it will work fine
