It’s not good for Google SEO when child-domains sitemap links appear inside master-domain’s sitemap.xml when we use WordPress Multisite

For eg, a master-domain’s sitemap.xml contains:
https://masterdomain/post-sitemap.xml
https://child1domain/sitemap.xml
https://child2domain/sitemap.xml

How can I remove child-domains link?
