    How would you remove the boxes around the buttons on the slider? I love the slider and want a button so that a user can click it and go to another page...I just don't love the somewhat opaque black boxes.

    Also, if there is some way to move the buttons to where you want them on the slider, that would be awesome as well! They are all on the left and I'd like the option to put them on the right and/or center them. Thanks.

    I have the most recent version of WordPress that I downloaded on 9/14/13.

    Which boxes are you referring to? The shaded background for all the text and the button? Or the button itself? And when you say all the buttons are on the left, you mean the single button for each slide is on the left?

    I would like to know this also. I would like the buttons on the slider but not the shadow box that surrounds it (opaque black, not the blue button)

    I would like to move the buttons up instead of centered vertically.

    ElectricFeet -

    I am referring to on the slider. You can have buttons. Around the buttons is a somewhat opaque box that I would like to remove so you see only the picture in the slider and then the button/text.

    Also, yes, each button on the slide...can you move them?

    Thanks!

    I think the best way to show it is to reference this website:

    https://www.libreoffice.org/

    They have the green button with the white wording. If you look at the screen shot below, you see a black box that is somewhat opaque around my red button. I would like to remove the black box.

    Thanks!

    Tried adding this to your custom css or your theme child style.css ?

    .carousel-caption {
    background: none;
    }
