  • Hello,

    http://www.meanttosoar.com
    Atahualpa theme

    I created a fake post called ‘quotation mark’ so you can see my problem.

    I downloaded the quotation mark image to be used with the blockquote. I need help removing the border from the image.

    I dont understand codes, but this is what it says on the page:
    background: url(images/bg-quote2.png) no-repeat;
    border-left: 1px dashed #ccc;
    color: #a5a4a4;
    font-style:italic;
    margin: 30px;
    padding: 30px 30px 30px 50px;

  • border: 0;

    That’s javascript. In html it is: border=0

    @dave: The OP quoted CSS – not HTML. The original CSS is correct syntax-wise.

    @msmichie: The image you are referring to is actually in the markup of your page. It is not being applied by CSS. Try adding:

    blockquote img {border:none;}

    to your theme’s custom CSS.

    Thanks esmi, I added:

    blockquote img {border:none;}

    But nothing seemed to change.
