Remove blogroll, meta, categories…

    How can I remove the standard WP blogroll, meta, categories etc. that show up before you add widgets? I know you usually edit the sidebar.php file, but in the Cordoba theme, nothing I tried has worked. Any ideas?

    What I do in cases like this is :
    Do a search over ALL theme-files and look for key-words like wp_meta.

    Your search will return the file where the default sidebar content is defined.
