WordPress version: 3.4.1
WordPress SEO version: 188.8.131.52
I did this:
My permalink structure is /%category%/%postname%.
I’m using a “network” and I remove the blog slug manually from network settings. Like this blog says.
I’m also removing the category slug with WordPress SEO.
I expected the plugin to do this:
Keep redirections. But with this configuration it doesn´t work well.
Instead it did this:
When I click in a category wordpress returns the first post in that category or the first he can find, I’m not very sure.
To solve that inconsistence, I modify class-rewrite.php (wordpress-seo/inc/class-rewrite.php) and I add:
$blog_prefix = '';
in line 114.
For now is working well, but I think it is a bit inconsistent because in a future version of wordpress could be diferent.
I would like to remove this custom patch, how i can do it?
There might be an option to remove the slug blog.
