I have read through all the fixes to plug into custom CSS, tried playing with the HTML code on the page and this border just comes back every time. Adding the style code within the img tag in the text on the page itself made it go away but it came right back.

Can someone with more CSS experience help me out? I have no idea how to remove this ugly border on linked images. It doesn’t show on non-linked images.

You can see the black borders on the two social icons for Facebook and Instagram at the top of that page. Nothing makes them go away. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Lori

I saved it again within the code of the actual WP page in the “img” info with the code style=”box-shadow:none;” and it worked this time. Maybe that will help someone else having this same issue. What an ugly thing to add to this theme. I hope they remove it in future versions.

So, for newbies, it looks like img class=”alignleft wp-image-168″ style=”border: none;” src= etc.
