  • Hello @anixu87

    Add below css code into your current active child theme’s style.css file or you can add additional css option in theme customizer. .posted-on, .post-author, .post-comments, .entry-taxonomy {
      display: none;

    Hope this will helps you.

    It worked, thank you so much 🙂

    It doesn’t remove it : it only hides it visually but it is still present on the page.

    I’m also looking for a solution to really delete the author name since last WordPress upgrade the author name has reappeared.

    There is a better solution in the wordpress documentation. I did it last week and forgot wher I saw it. I will find it again. no extra code needed.

    Thank you so much, that would be amazing

    Just you need to find blog setting and find “Show post meta” in your customize option and de-active it.

    Could someone please help with the following?

    If you look at the home page, there are date/categories/comments under the post title.

    1) How can I remove ‘categories’ completely?
    2) Ensure Date + Comments are in one single line below the post excerpt (where the number of comments are displayed currently)

    Many thanks!!!

    I can’t remove the author from posts in the aneeq theme for
    Any help appreciated.
    I have tried a few css additions as advised elsewhere but to no avail.
    Thank you

    @ccameron20 try posting in that theme’s support forum here:

    Looks like the theme author is pretty responsive so hopefully you’ll get a response as this forum is for the Storefront theme.

    Thank you. Your response and advice greatly appreciated.

    hi to all.

    I just want to remove “Posted-on” and “By” extensions from meta information. I mean I don’t want the author’s name and post date to be removed. I just want the extensions to be removed but once I code display: none; It deletes and displays all of the data, esp. author’s name, and post date. I would be grateful if you help me with this. I’ve tried all the ways and none of them work.
